Sometimes I'm asked what makes me tick (or click) as an image maker. After giving it some thought I realized growing up immersed in nature and the study of art that often when enjoying a particular landscape painting I would be completely transported into another world, That image had the emotional integrity to effect me deeply. This is what I'm attempting to do in my photography - to impart the feeling of a particular moment in time to the viewer. I believe myself to be what they call an incurable romantic with lighting and composition as my driving forces.
